China launches its longest-ever crewed mission for space station construction

The Long March 2F rocket carrying Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft with 3 astronauts will be launched from Jiuquan Satellites Launching center in order to dock with the Tianhe core module & Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft module in the coming week, probably on 17.06.

According to schedule, CNSA will also carry out the launching missions of the Tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou-13 manned spacecraft respectively to China’s space station. So by October 2021, the space station will have 6 Chinese astronauts together.

15 years ago when US rejected China to join the International space station project, China had no choice but forced to work extra hard to build their own space station. So US must be given due credit for this rejection.
