Bear face on Mars

The fascinating image of the Martian surface was captured by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera on the Mars Observation Orbiter. The HiRISe Beautiful Mars (NASA) Twitter handle said in a tweet that the bear’s face appears to be visible when zooming in on some of the areas seen on the surface. This picture was later taken over by netizens.

Research conducted by the University of Arizona suggests that the area we see as the bear’s nose may be a volcano. It is estimated that the parts that look like the eyes of the bear may have formed two craters and a circular pattern around them.
