American astro photographer presents incredible images of the sun to the world. Photographs were taken by photographer Andrew McCarthy with a modified telescope.
The images shared via McCarthy’s Instagram account, Cosmic Background, have already gone viral.
It is reported that these are the clearest images of the sun available so far. He took one and a half million pictures of the sun through a telescope. Plasma racing through the Sun’s surface can be clearly seen through a 300 – megapixel image.
The images are shared under the title Fire and Fusion.
