APOLLO 15

Let’s take a quick look at the records set by the Apollo 15 mission in 1971. The largest payload of 45,500 kg delivered to the Moon’s orbit, 295 hours, the longest manned mission to the lunar surface,

and the first fully equipped deep space electric vehicle to fly to the moon in 18 hours. Spend as (via three different trips), reach the farthest distance of 17 km from the lunar surface spacecraft (the nearest record is two miles of Apollo 14),

fly into another planet’s orbit for the first time and give a satellite to another sphere, Apollo. Own on the 15th.
