Have you ever seen pictures of the Amazon rainforest? It’s mostly flat, but in the wildest, most remote parts of the Amazon near the Peruvian border, there’s a mountain that rises half a kilometer above the flat forest.
This mountain, known as Cerro El Cono, is believed to be the peak of an extinct volcano. Surrounding this mountain are over 400 people who have not been seen or heard from by the outside world for thousands of years.
They live contentedly, worshipping this mountain, and following their ancient traditions. Reaching this area is extremely difficult, making us seem like aliens to them. If you attempt to visit, don’t expect tea or coffee; you might end up in the afterlife instead.
This region is home to plant species not found anywhere else on Earth, as well as various predators like jaguars and cougars. The indigenous people here have unique clothing, weapons, and languages, making it feel like a scene straight out of the movie “Avatar.” Indeed, Welcome to a Mini Pandora Forest with its Ingenious Tribe.
