Why do painters care about NASA?

A colony for humans to live in space! What will it be like? What size will it be? How beautiful is it? What is the size? What will be its design? …
These are not dreams for tomorrow. These are dreams that many people have had in the past. Only good artists can give color to such dreams. NASA designed such a project in the 1970s. Many painters back then showed us what space colonies looked like. It was not just drawing. They were works of art with the support of scientists. A project that presents to the public in a most beautiful, but scientifically drawn way the thoughts that were once likely to come true.

The post is accompanied by a painting by artist Rick Guidice. If it rotates at a certain speed, it will have the same gravity as the Earth. Such a huge spaceship! (Here are some images from that project – https://www.flickr.com/photos/nasacommons/albums/72157644439092941/with/13889485757/)
At the time, NASA envisioned art programs as links between science and the general public. Such plans continue today. The illustrations of the space missions will be performed by artists. Such images are shared by NASA and other space agencies under the guise of pictorial imagination.
NASA has a large panel of artists. Artists who copy the ideas of the minds of scientists into canvas. With the discovery of extrasolar planets, many began to wonder what such planets would look like. NASA’s Exoplanet Travel Bureau recently created a program to satisfy such people, with the help of scientists to show us what extrasolar planets look like.
