Archaeologists have unearthed a 1.3-million-year-old stone age hand ax ax manufacturing site in Morocco. Researchers say that this hand ax construction site is related to the human ancestor Homo erectus. The stone tools found at the site are now being studied by Moroccan, French and Italian researchers. The discovery of millions of years old stone tools in Morocco will change the well-known history so far. The uniqueness of this discovery is that the Acheulian Stone-tool industry in North Africa, associated with Homo eructus, goes back thousands of years.
