Planet Hunting Mission

Space agencies are now discovering alien worlds at an astonishing rate. In fact, NASA’s planetary mission discovered 5,000 alien worlds in four years. The US Space Agency’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) Exoplanet Hunter is making significant progress in this regard.

Currently, thousands of exoplanets or aliens are being studied based on the signals that scientists are interested in

. Here’s a look at how life works, as well as how it works and how it is shaped. About 5,000 such aliens have been newly discovered. This is no small matter.

Scientists study the features of TOIs to get a better picture of what TESS can see. Of these 5,000, at least 176 TOIs have been confirmed to be planets since TESS launched in April 2018. There is a delay between the moment the TOIs are identified and confirmed as planets.

Tess’s predecessor Kepler space telescope detects more than 2,000 planets Exosplanets in space. One of Tess’s major discoveries is a planet that lasts only 16 Earth hours a year. For each observation, TESS observes a large part of the sky to find the planets closest to a star
