Austrian Felix Baungartner is the first person to record sky diving faster than sound.

This Austrian skydived at a height of 39 km from the sky in New Mexico.

Felix reached this height in a balloon and it took less than ten minutes to reach the bottom.

In the final moments of the jump, Felix used a parachute to speed control his descent

Felix jumped at a speed of 1,357.6 km/h
