Antennae Galaxies are NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 interacting galaxies located in the Corvus galaxy about 60 million light-years from Earth.
It was discovered in 1785 by the British astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel.
As a result of the collision between the two galaxies mentioned above,
The dust particles formed into two tails, which got its name from the fact that it has the shape of an insect’s antennae.
The post is a combination of a visible light image taken by Hubble and a radio image taken by Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA).
