The V 22 Osprey is an engineering marvel.

Take off like a helicopter, then change the mode while flying and fly like an airplane…and finally land like a helicopter and fold it back to rest in a corner of the ship…can you imagine such a design? But there is such a plane in this world….its name is V22 Osprey owned by US Defense..

Helicopters usually have a small rotor on the tail…ever wondered why? When the helicopter rotates with its big rotor, there is a possibility of an opposite reaction naturally according to Newton’s 3rd law…that is, the body of the helicopter starts rotating in the opposite direction….to prevent this, a small rotor is fitted on its tail and fixed…it gives stability to the body.

Aasan Aal is doing great things than the baby…In most crash moments, this baby rotor of the helicopter is the first to break, then the body usually falls down after a spin before the helicopter crashes….

But the V22 osprey doesn’t have a baby rotor in the tail…so how can stability be possible…? Engineers found an answer to that…Osprey has two big rotors…Both have 3 blades propeller…During operation they both rotate in opposite direction…When this happens naturally the body of the plane gets stability with lift at that time. Coming up….so there is no need for a special baby rotor at the back

Expected to be faster than a normal helicopter…an all rounder without a doubt…a great invention.
