James Webb Space Telescope launches into space on December 24

The most expensive and complex space mission ever built by the scientific community –

NASA launched the Next Generation Space Telescope 25 years ago.

The project is being overseen by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

The telescope was developed by Northrop Grumman and Ball Aerospace.

The web’s location in space will be at Earth’s second Legrandian point (L2) 1.5 million kilometers from Earth-

The peculiarity of this orbit is that the telescope is able to stand in the shadow of the earth as it orbits the sun.
