Boiling River

The Shanay-Timpishka is one of the tributaries of the Amazon River. Even in the non-rainy season, the 5km wide Amazon River and its surrounding forest were always full of mystery.

The tribes and flora and fauna of that forest, which is more than half the size of the United States, are still not fully understood. So another mystery of the place full of mysteries is the boiling river mentioned above. Its temperature reaches from 45 degrees Cel to 100 in some places. Some animals that accidentally fall into it can also be seen floating dead.

The river’s name means “heated by the sun,” but experts suggest that the warming may be due to the Geothermal Gradient, which creates water’s affinity with the Earth’s mantle.
