Mars

The Red Planet has captured our interest for centuries and has been the subject of much discussion in science fiction books and movies. Mars has been the subject of robotic exploration since the 1960s. Since 1965 NASA has been sending missions to explore Mars and sharing pictures and knowledge about our curious neighbor. Mars is the second most accessible place in our solar system.

NASA is preparing to land the first woman and the next man on the Moon’s South Pole via Artemis by 2024. Before landing on Mars, NASA sees the moon as a place and station to test its strategies and technologies.

Mars has a mysterious history, because it may once be like Earth. That is, it is one of the best places to look for ancient life. Many important questions we have about the solar system can be solved by studying Mars.

‘Mars is an Earth-like planet in our solar system. By studying the planet’s geographical and climatic history and how it developed, we can learn how the Earth expanded and how it will expand in the future.
