glass frog are a species of frog found in South America. Some of the rarest ‘see-throughs’ on earth today; Or these are transparent organisms. Through their transparent skin, the heart, liver, lungs, and intestines inside can be clearly seen with the naked eye.

To date, scientists have identified more than 150 different species of glass frogs. The glass frogs inhabit the rainforests of Panama, Ecuador, Colombia and Costa Rica. Their main job is to stay awake at night and catch spiders and insects.

These glass frogs use their transparent bodies and ability to reflect light to hide behind predators.
