On December 18th it’s happening!!

The most sophisticated space telescope to date, the James Webb space telescope, the successor of the Hubble Space Telescope, will take off to space, to orbit the Earth.

The telescope is equipped with a 6.5-meter mirror, infrared sensors, and includes a “sun shield” that will block light from the star itself, highlighting the objects around the star (planets and moons), which will allow scientists to detect the atmospheric composition of these planets.

This way we will know on which planets are the components that can support life as we know it and where there may be life in high probability. Who knows, maybe we will finally find aliens..

So save the date.
